Own Your Element at Element Nail Salon

By Jake Levin

A veteran of over 15 years in the nail and skincare industry, Michelle Cao's dream sprung to life in November 2014 when she was finally able to own and operate her very own nail care facility.

Cao is the woman behind Element Nail Salon, located in Hinesburg, Vt. The salon's logo is derived from the 'element' portion of its title, as it depicts earth, water, air and fire in symbolizing inclusion.

"When differences come together something magical happens," said Stuart Deliduka, Cao's spokesperson. "Element Nail Salon's facility was designed for everyone. Women, men, seniors, people with limited mobility and children all feel welcome. Earth tones provide a sense of calm and peacefulness. Based on the feedback our customers have provided, Michelle's vision has been achieved."

In keeping with the earth theme, Element Nail Salon is renowned for its all-natural methods. Deliduka called it an "oasis," void of harsh, dangerous chemicals sometimes associated with nail salons. At Element, Cao cares about her clients.

"Element Nail Salon differentiates itself from other salons because customers can choose between traditional high quality commercial products, all-natural, individually crafted ones and multiple award winning organic options," Deliduka said. "Customers can select from Element's traditional manicures, pedicures and massages, choose one of our special upgraded spa-ish protocols, or even work with your specialist to create your own, tailored to your individual needs."

Customers will note the calm, warm, relaxing atmosphere upon entering the salon, with therapeutic music playing in the background. The cleanliness is notable and the salon never gets overcrowded due to its appointment-based approach. Walk-ins are available but only if they don't impact a client's appointment.

Element Nail Salon loves to host special events, such as bridal parties, birthday parties and teen/tween or girls night out parties.

"Our space turns into their space to enjoy," Deliduka said.

Foot care is important to the staff at Element Nail Salon, as Deliduka notes that quality nails take time. Providing warm soaks, cutile grooming, exfoliation, massage and moisturizer promote healthy feet. Men and seniors frequent the salon for pedicures, too, as they've discovered what women have known for years: that the therapeutic benefits of quality foot care really improve their well being and promote an active life style.

During the winter months, hot stone pedicures are among Element's most popular procedures.

"Michelle and her staff developed a protocol that many have called one of the best pedicures anywhere," Deliduka said. "At just $45, it is ¾ of an hour of pure bliss. The standard hot stone foot, sole and calf and leg massage with stones between your toes are just the beginning."

Element Nail Salon is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
