Find a Quiet Corner and Enjoy at Liquid Art

By Elisha Neubauer

In Killington, Vermont, there is a new way to enjoy coffee.

Liquid Art, owned by Beth Weinberg Sarandrea, opened its doors approximately seven years ago simply because Sarandrea didn't want to see such a beautiful building sit empty. Devising a plan to create a community around the building, she realized the area needed a place where one could get specialty coffee and healthier foods.

"I am a mixologist by trade, who is very passionate about creating all different types of beverages, and I also happen to have a love for photography," Sarandrea said. "My husband is a chef with a background in healthy cooking."

After much thought, the pair had a vision to combine talents and create a restaurant and gallery with a unique atmosphere. They succeeded.

The atmosphere of Liquid Art is warm, welcoming, unique, and bright. The eatery features a variety of eye-candy for your visit, such as a beautiful fireplace, stunning saltwater fish tank, and a range of artwork from a selection of local artists. With the motto, "Everything we serve is art," the eatery offers specialty coffees, creative cocktails, innovative, fresh, healthy fare and local artwork all in one place.

"Everyone can find comfort here," Sarandrea said. "There are couches for lounging, bar seats, tables to work at, and outdoor patio seating surrounded by metal animal sculptures (in season)."

The company takes pride in everything they do and make an extra effort to be artistic with every presentation. While already known for their incredible espresso drinks and alcoholic beverages, they are hoping to become known for delicious, healthy food. Vegetarian options are also available.

"We really make an effort to have outstanding customer service and to make all our guests feel welcome," Sarandrea said.

Space rental is also available for any events you may be planning. The atmosphere makes Liquid Art an enjoyable place for a party, and as for details, they've got it taken care of.
